NRA CET Exam may consist of four sections. Let’s discuss each section one by one in detail.

English Language section for NRA CET Exam

How to Prepare English for NRA CET Exam?

Keep in mind that NRA CET Exam English level would not be very easy, as now-a-days even SSC CGL is following IBPS English level which is considered to be moderate to difficult. Also, it is in the news that NRA CET Scorecard will be valid for private sector as well, that is why NRA will try to maintain the level of questions keeping everything in mind.

Therefore, we suggest that to score very good marks in English of NRA CET, one must read The Hindu editorials on a daily basis. It would be better if you follow English HotSpot as it contains good quality questions and answers based on The Hindu editorials along with the editorials.

English in competitive exams is divided into 4 parts which are as follows:

  1. Vocabulary
  2. Grammar
  3. Reading Comprehension
  4. Verbal Ability

All these sections can be tackled just by following English HotSpot monthly ebook (pdf) which is published by EK.

How to prepare Quantitative Aptitude for NRA CET Exam?

For NRA CET exam, a common syllabus keeping in mind the demands of SSC, BANKING and Railway exams will be devised.

Basic approach that should be followed, will remain the same.

Always try to simplify complicated equations and formulas on your own.

  • Set your own approach which suits you the best and master that. Eventually, your own approach will help you in increasing your speed of solving the problem. Do not copy someone else’s approach blindly. Stick to your basics and do not run behind tricks.
  •  In NRA CET 2021, arithmetic questions will be calculative. So, try to practice IBPS questions for arithmetic.
  •  For Advance maths, you can go with any standard book.
  • Many aspirants are not able to understand the language of questions and hence end up losing their marks by either leaving that particular problem or answering that wrong. So, try to decipher the language properly.
  • After clearing your concept, start taking Mocks as much as possible and analyse your score.

How to prepare the General Awareness section for NRA CET Exam?

The general awareness section is the most boring yet scoring section in any exam.

Keep in mind that just reading lots of books will not do any good to you, instead follow limited books and keep revising them frequently.

4) General Intelligence (Reasoning Aptitude) for NRA CET Exam

How to Prepare General Intelligence (Reasoning) for NRA CET Exam?

This section can be considered as comparatively easier than other sections except for a few topics like Puzzles & Seating Arrangement. But do you know, what makes this section much problematic in the exam hall? The answer is “your Attitude towards it”. We generally take this section for granted at the time of preparation and that is why this section kicks us badly in the examination hall.

So, what you need to do is very simple, practice this section as much as you can from the practice papers or by taking mocks. Coding-Decoding, Alphanumeric Series, Clock, Embedded Figures, Blood relations, Direction Sense, Order & Ranking can be easily practiced through mocks.

For Puzzles you need to be careful and play a little extra attention, so always practice Puzzles with Stopwatch on. Determine the different types of Puzzles being asked in IBPS PO exams and practice every type of puzzles thoroughly. As, banking PO puzzles are of difficult level and you may get similar types of puzzles in the NRA CET exam, so try to maximize the practice on these parts.
