'Suggest' takes a direct object.

Now what is direct object?

Let's try to understand this with the help of an example.

He gave me a book.

In "that clause " verb is in subjunctive form so it doesn't changes its form.

Here 'study' is in subjunctive form so it won't change. The verb stays in the base form (bare infinitive) form.
