okay now let's talk about some most important error spotting/error detection questions and their solution.
🔷20 Most important error spotting /error detection questions(Conceptual)(with detailed solution) for SSC(CGL, CPO, CHSL etc) , Bank(SBI, IBPS, RBI) and other competitive exams.
1) Meera did this (a)/ work as good as (b)/ she could (c)/ no error
Solution : The error is in (b)
⚫Note - 'as well as' instead of 'as good as'.
'As good as' is the positive degree of adjective 'good' while 'as well as' is the positive degree of adverb 'well' . Here to qualify the verb 'did', we need adverb.

2) Rita was in the courtyard(a) / when the burglars(b) / entered into her house(c) /No error
Solution :The error is in (c)
⚫Note - 'Enter' is not followed by into when it is used for a physical space(courtyard, room, place etc) . But when 'enter' is used for an agreement, we use 'into' after it.
For example
We entered an agreement. ❌
We entered into an agreement.✔️

'Emphasised' is not followed by on.Remove on.

Solution : There is no error. The given sentence is absolutely correct.
⚫Note - 'But' is generally used as a conjunction but here it's used as a relative pronoun and when but is used as a relative pronoun, it means who.. Not/ who doesn't / which doesn't.
So the sentence means there is no mother who doesn't love her children.

⚫KIM (keep in mind) - 'busy' is followed by with.

⚫Note - more nobly' instead of 'nobler'.
'Nobler' is comparative degree of adjective 'noble' while 'more nobly' is comparative form of adverb 'nobly'.

'Debarred from attending' is the correct usage.
⚫Note - Preposition 'from' is used with 'debar'.

⚫Note - No comparison is implied, when there is 'times' used for comparison. So positive degree is used.

Solution :The error lies in (c)
Use of all is superfluous here. Universally itself means that all accepted the idea. So using 'universally accepted' or 'universally acknowledged' is wrong.
12) So quickly shivangi ran (a)/ that she (b)/ caught the bus (c)/ no error
Solution : The error is in (a)
⚫Note - 'so quickly did shivangi run' is the right usage. If a sentence is introduced by an adverb, inversion takes place. So 'did run' will be used instead of 'ran'.
13) Could you please(a) / repeat back what (b) /you just said (c) /No error
Solution : Use of back is superfluous here, it's not used with repeat.
14) Meera awaited for him (a) /for two hours(b) /but he didn't come(c) /No error
Solution: The error is in (a)
For is not used with await.
Await = wait for
Comprise = consist of
Investigate =inquire into

'Coward man ' is not used. Use either 'coward' or 'cowardly man'.
'Coward man ' is not used. Use either 'coward' or 'cowardly man'.
Coward is a noun while cowardly is an adjective, not an adverb.
He is coward. ❌(coward is a noun, so use an article before it)
